Corporate Income Tax Accounting
Responsible for financial statement tax reporting including financial statement note disclosure for the consolidated group and tax impacts of Corporate adjustments Review and consolidation of regional tax provisions Liaise with Group Accounting Finance Team and Tax Team to improve systems and processes as it pertains to corporate income tax accounting and reporting
Transfer Pricing
Oversight of the global transfer pricing policy to integrate legacy policies and develop and implement a revised transfer pricing strategy that reflects the evolving business and provides operational effectiveness and mitigates audit risk Manage one direct report to complete global Transfer Pricing compliance and planning Provide support for local tax audits of the transfer pricing policy
Corporate Income Tax Planning and Group Initiatives
Assist VP, Global Tax with global corporate income tax planning initiatives including cash repatriation and legal entity rationalization planning in conjunction with Regional teams Manage internal Consolidated Tax Reporting including global cash tax forecasting, budgeting and other adhoc global projects to ensure tax KPIs are monitored and controlled Collaborate with various internal teams to streamline processes and strengthen internal controls and documentation within the Global Tax function. Keep abreast of global tax changes to assess impact on Group Tax, Global Finance and/or business processes.
Qualifications:
CPA / Chartered Accountant with 8 to 12 years of work experience, specializing in corporate income tax, either with a Big 4 accounting firm and/or multinational corporation Strong understanding of tax accounting and experience with consolidations in a multinational environment including purchase accounting. Experience managing global tax issues in multinational environment. Strong knowledge and understanding of transfer pricing methodologies
