  • Oversee the entire finance function of the Company
  • Ensure compliance with local laws, accounting standards and latest financial developments affecting the Company
  • Overall responsibility for statutory audits, taxation and tax fields audits, and Company secretarial compliance and filings with SSM, LHDN, Kastam and other regulatory filings such as BNM, MIDA, MITI, Statistics, etc.
  • Oversee the Company treasury function such that credits are optimised and banking facilities are efficiently utilized in terms of timing of drawdown and the cost of financing is minimized
  • Take control of the cost and management accounting responsibilities for the Company
  • To always stay alert on changes in law and quickly assess the implication of such changes on the Company and to action changes to processes and systems to adapt thereto
  • Ensure on-time submission or renewals thereof are made for tax estimate filings (CP204 & CP204A), tax/SST/GST payments are all made on-time
  • Ensure monthly accounts are issued on-time and with accuracy to allow financials to be properly analysed so can assist management to make suitable decisions on corrective steps to remove any inefficiencies in the company
  • Ensure business plan, forecast and budgets are properly constructed using sound assumptions and in line with management's best expectations
  • Able to make presentations with clarity to both internal and external stakeholders
  • Able to quickly identify problems and devise solutions to resolve issues spontaneously 
  • Make the finance team work well as a cohesive unit so that reports can be generated in the most efficient manner and at optimal cost
  • To prepare monthly sales commission for Sales Team
  • Reporting to Director
SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Candidate must possess at least Bachelor's Degree/Post Graduate Diploma/Professional Degree in Finance/Accountancy/Banking or IPA/ ACCA/ CIMA
  • Excellent in financial reporting, management reporting
  • Familiar with ERP System
  • Strong in planning, organizational and leadership skills and can communicate and interact well with both external and internal parties
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Good command of English & Bahasa Malaysia
  • Ability to converse in Mandarin will be an added advantage
  • Computer literate
  • At least 5 years' and above working experience as Finance Head in a Manufacturing envirionment is A MUST
REQUIREMENTS :-
  • Applicants must be willing to work in Johor Bahru - Kawasan Perindustrian Tebrau II
  • 5.5 days working (alternated half Saturday working)
