Job description, responsibilities and duties

Purpose

Support customers (managers/internal customers in a variety of ways:
•Transparency of business results, finance & processes in the company.
•To prevent customers from making inefficient decisions which are based on strategy of division.
•To provide all relevant controlling information to customers which are used for decision making.
•To coordinate preparation of the plans & sub plans, which are oriented to ensure successful future of the company.
•To develop & manitain controlling systems.


Key accountabilities
•Perform operational controlling tasks in medium & high complexity
•Process control in the respective business environment
•Coordination of relevant closing processes for specific business areas
•Preparation of the plans & sub- plans
•Activities in the monthly closing process by taking into account continual service improvement
•Maintain internal standards, processes and routines based on group requirements
•Support Team leader by in optimization of processes and outputs
•Guide and coach Controllers 1& 2 and train new team members
•Held trainings for other colleagues

Wage (gross)

Minimum monthly salary is 1000 € brutto + variable part of salary + other financial benefits. The final basic wage component can be adjusted accordingly to individual skills and experience of selected candidate.

University education (Bachelor's degree)

Language skills

English - Upper intermediate (B2)

Personality requirements and skills

Education
• University education (Bachelor’s degree) in Business Administration / Economics (ideally with focus on subject matter) or higher

Experience
• Experiences in controlling or finance area (minimum 4 years)

Languages
• German B2 or higher
• English B1 – advantage

Others
•Advanced knowledge of Finance and Controlling processes and procedures
•SAP user skills advanced
•IFRS knowledge in related field
•MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, Powerpoint) – expert level
•Strong sense of responsibility and communication, negotiation skills
•Actively spread a knowledge to other team members
•Active work in team and willingness to work in an international environment / intercultural sensitivity
