This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified accountant to diversify their CV and experience in a high-performing asset management business, in a supportive and welcoming team.

Responsibilities will involve:
  • Preparation of monthly management accounting for several group companies
  • Revenue calculations and invoicing process
  • Reviewing and approve payments and expenses
  • Managing fixed asset accounting for all group companies
  • Preparation of group year-end financial statements for several group companies
  • Assisting with the audit process
  • Assessing the impact of new and amended IFRS standards on group accounting and financial statements
  • Perform monthly balance sheet reconciliations for specific balance sheet accounts
  • Prepare regulatory returns for all group companies and be the subject matter expert
  • Provide assistance to other areas of the finance team in relation to improving processes and assisting with more complex excel formula
  • Ad hoc General ledger postings

Candidate requirements for the role include:
  • Qualified Accountant, ACA preferred from a small/medium audit firm; alternatively a recently qualified ACCA accountant from another asset manager
  • Excellent excel skills
  • Experience of using SunSystems and Q&A advantageous
  • Retail financial services background would also be advantageous
  • Knowledge of IFRS
  • Annual financial statements experience
  • FCA Regulatory Returns experience
