This critical role provides analytical, communications and people strategy delivery as part of the Chief of Staff Business Office supporting for the USCB Chief Risk Officer and Head of GCB Risk Modeling Utility. This person will report directly the CRO Chief of Staff supporting all Risk business administration, communication and people strategy responsibilities for over 1,100 staff across USCB Risk (Branded Cards, Retail Banking, and Mortgage) and GCB Model Utility Risk teams. Applies in-depth disciplinary knowledge, contributing to the development of strategies and improvement of critical business processes for USCB Risk Management. The Business Associate is a senior level position responsible for the overall administrative activities of a business. These tasks may include managing strategy and execution of communications, employee learning and development, engagement, finance and performance management. The Business Associate may coordinate and manage activities such as the tracking of business financials, employee headcount and other administrative needs as necessary. May manage ad hoc projects as requested.

Responsibilities:
  • Support the Chief of Staff on day to day strategic activities, business routinesand ad-hoc requests
  • Provide insights and content creation, assembly and structure assistance for executive deck building on key initiatives strategy and execution
  • Serve as Communications Lead on execution for internal business messaging on risk Management key communication deliverables including Townhalls, Newsletters, Risk SharePoint, Collaborate and various initiative based communication. Ensure timely and effective communications support the organizational vision, values and priorities.
  • Assist in driving organization/people strategy goals inclusive of Talent (Recruiting, Onboarding and Development) and Employee Engagement initiatives.
  • Project management and cross-function coordination for support of business priorities as well as strategizing on Voice of the Employee (VOE) initiatives in partnership with Risk managers and HR inclusive of Diversity, Engagement & Development.
  • Act as a creative thinker to the organization and propose new ways to look at processes and tools
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key partners such as HR, Recruiting, Finance and USCB Risk Management leadership
  • Support activities such as metrics and actuals tracking of business financials, managing employee headcount and coordination of other administrative needs.
  • Identify and develop business content for deployment, to enhance brand awareness with stakeholders and clients
  • Advise, write and edit on company-wide communications
  • Leverage technology and tools to enable communications and generate excitement and interest in risk communications
  • Develop and maintain communication standards and procedures; serve as subject matter expert on communication tools and applications
  • Develop monthly metricsto monitor and measure impact of the communication plan
  • Participate in leadership meetings to assess scope of communications needs, educate leadership on strategy, and make recommendations for achieving desired impact
  • Complete financial deliverables including monthly headcount forecasts, expense planning and annual investment process, client reporting and ad hoc requests
Qualifications:
  • 6-10 years of relevant experience in a financial services role
  • Communications or marketing experience preferred
  • Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication skill; Should have demonstrated ability and proof points in executive deck building
  • Knowledge of analytics / reporting and Citi communication tools a must such as advanced excel, PowerPoint, Collaborate, SharePoint, and Citi Survey.
  • Strong business acumen, executive presence, and analytic ability to identify business trends and opportunities; ability to drive change

Education:
  • Bachelors or Master's Degree in Business, Communications or Marketing or equivalent preferred
