They are constantly looking to innovate and improve their applications, systems and services, and in this instance, there are two business critical applications that need to be replaced as soon as possible as well as additional improvements and upgrades to a multitude of other applications, systems and services. As such, an opportunity for a Project Manager/Business Analyst, has presented itself.
The Role
Reporting directly into the IT Operations Manager, you will be the key in assessing, developing, upgrading and supporting applications and services of the utmost highest priority to the organisations ability to serve its community. You will be working closely with the IT team, finance, senior leadership and the wider business units to build solutions which align to the businesses and customers needs. The Role

As the Project Manager/Business Analyst, you will;
- Manage the investigation, selection, development and delivery of key applications, systems and services.
- Map the 'as is' and 'to be' of the current applications, systems and services.
- Engage and capture requirements from stakeholders across both technology, finance and the wider business.
- Manage the relationship with the application vendors, in relation to application enhancements, contract renewals and any major outages.
- Project manage all implementations or upgrades to applications.
- Provide subject matter expert support on key applications.
- Ensure that applications are maintained in a manner that supports delivery of services to multiple platforms, resilience, and performance.
- Manage release and change control process for applications which includes effective department wide and end user communication
- Break down technology solutions in order for non-technical stakeholders to understand.
About You
You will be a Project Manager/Business Analyst who specializes in application development. A bonus would be you come from an IT support background. Your experience and skills should include most, if not all:
- You have experience as a Business Analysis performing process mapping, running workshops, and gathering requirements.
- Experience in end to end Project Management of application development.
- You will have strong knowledge of application development, delivery and support.
- Experience working directly with end users and vendors surrounding applications development, support and training.
- Confidence in engaging, communicating, and presenting in senior stakeholder meetings.
- Excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills with the ability to develop good working relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including management, business users, architects, vendors, and developers.
- You will have an empathetic approach to font-line users and clients.
