This will be a fantastic career opportunity for an individual who is degree qualified in Accounting and has already working in a similar position as an Assistant Accountant or similar position for at least 4 years.
In this role you will be assisting the Finance Manager with completing month end duties, you will be doing daily bank and GL reconciliations as well as accounts payable and receivable processes.
The successful candidate will be enrolled in their CA or CPA or have recently completed their qualifications.

In this role you will be assisting the Finance Manager with completing month end duties, you will be doing daily bank and GL reconciliations as well as accounts payable and receivable processes.
The successful candidate will be enrolled in their CA or CPA or have recently completed their qualifications.
Key Responsibilities:
- Performing bank reconciliations and general journal entries
- Reconciliation of corporate credit card statements
- Reporting to the Finance Manager and assisting with month end financial reporting
- Processing credit applications, conducting credit checks and setting up new supplier/vendor accounts
- Assisting the finance team to perform month end processes
- Preparing and posting month end journal such as accrual, relocation of costs etc.
- Assisting with budgeting and forecasting
- Providing support to the Finance team with day to day financial operations
- Support the Inventory Project - attend meetings on discussions and take notes, follow up action items and provide support Financial Controller on this project
- Month End processing
- Balance sheet reconciling/ reporting
- Tax work - not in-depth understanding on this, just to provide some support
Key Requirements:
- Minimum four years experience within a similar role in commercial/corporate industries
- Willingness to get into a varied and dynamic role within a busy environment
- Experience working within a busy and corporate finance team
- Intermediate to Advanced Excel skills required
- Large ERP system knowledge and technically strong
- Degree qualified Accounting or a related field
- Working towards CA or CPA
- Strong system skills
