A growing and leading accountancy practice, based in Canterbury is searching for a Tax Senior or Manager to join their highly regarded tax team in an autonomous and rewarding position.
Client Details
A fast growing Canterbury based firm of chartered accountants. The role has come about through a combination of both organic growth and internal movement within their tax team , so the partners are planning for the future development and growth of the firms successful tax department. The incoming individual will carve a key, pivotal role and position within the firms tax department, joining a team of successful, experienced professionals and you will progress within this highly successful firm.
Description
Joining the team in Canterbury as a Tax senior or Tax Manager you will manage a large portfolio of clients across both compliance and planning work, subject to experience. The firm acts for wide ranging commercial clients, to encompass larger corporates and groups across varied sectors and industries.
Acting for the directors of these businesses, the role will be compliance dominant but will also offer exposure to planning work which often revolves around IHT, pension/remuneration planning, residency work, trusts and estates. Dependant on the individuals experience and aspirations, the role can be moulded around the person with varying levels of compliance and advisory work.
There is also scope to get involved in mixed tax too, again subject to experience and aspirations.
Profile
For this Personal Tax Senior or Manager role , you may be ACA/ACCA/ATT and/or CTA qualified with a significant career background focused in tax, ideally across personal tax.
Your background may be more compliance focused to date, or you may bring demonstrable experience working on planning and advisory project work alongside this. Most importantly you will be able to demonstrate the aptitude and ability to manage a large portfolio, develop junior staff and advise clients on the advisory side.
Job Offer
