Accountant (Business Services) - 10 Partner + Accountancy Firm - Competitive Salary
Your new company Our client is an established and successful accountancy firm who are looking to hire an Accountant to join the firms expanding business services team. The team has experienced significant growth over the last few years and the firm has broadened its reach on
an international scale. The accountancy firm is very much a forward thinking firm and has embraced new procedures and technology to help improve its services to clients.
Your new role In your new role you'll work as part of a team to deliver a full accounting service to a number of sole traders and limited companies in the UK and overseas. You'll work with clients from a variety of sectors including entertainment, retail, property and technology. Your day to day responsibilities:
Preparation of statutory accounts Preparation of corporation tax computations Prepare and submit VAT returns Undertake and review bookkeeping assignments. What you'll need to succeed To succeed in this position you will be an ACA or ACCA finalist or a "qualified by experience" accountant with a proven track record of preparing accounts and tax returns on behalf of a number of clients. As the firm has fully embraced cloud technology it is
essential for the successful candidate to be confident using packages such as Xero or Quickbooks Online. You'll liaise directly with numerous clients on a daily basis so excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential.
