The Role
Reporting to the Senior Manager, your responsibilities will include:
- Preparation of financial statements, taxation returns, for all entities including companies, trusts, partnerships, and individuals
- Preparation of BAS, IAS, FBT, Payroll Tax & Workers Compensation Forms
- Liaise with the ATO and other regulatory bodies
- Contribute to team projects
Your Profile
- 1-3 years' experience within Business Services division of a public practice
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Demonstrated experience in preparing financial statements and tax returns, associated work-papers and other tax compliance work such as BAS, CGT, accounting and ad hoc tax and accounting advice
- A positive work ethic
- Sound planning / organisational skills
- Ability to work to strict deadlines
- Strong attention to detail
- Solid experience & proficiency with XERO and MYOB.
