Talentdge are exclusively partnering with an immensely high growth B2B SaaS startup (35 heads, £5m ARR) on a crucial hire within their expanding London based team.
Following a successful funding round and having recently made some high profile additions to their senior leadership team, including a heavyweight startup CFO/COO, this is a great time to join.
In what is their first day-to-day finance hire, you will be tasked with bringing in-house the company finances from an external accountancy firm & build a best-in-class function, setting up all processes, controls, systems and financial metrics.

You'll be amazing for this role if you have a high passion for technology, love startups and want a broad finance role covering finance, operations and commercials. Key responsibilities to include:
- Take ownership for the finance infrastructure, ensuring all processes and controls are scalable
- Preparation of consolidated monthly management accounts (UK & US) and ensure an efficient month end close
- Own the budgeting, forecasting, and long range planning processes
- Support on commercial initiatives, including future fundraising
- KPI work, including analysing metrics such as ARR/MRR/CHURN/CAC/LTV
- Statutory reporting and tax work
- In time, recruit and build a finance team
Profile:
- A strong academic background
- A qualified accountant with 3+ years of post-qualification experience within a high growth tech environment (ideally with B2B business model experience)
- Analytical, mathematical and data-driven in approach, with advanced Excel and financial modelling skills. The ability to use data analytics tools would be an advantage.
- Effective communicator, comfortable working with teams across the business.
- Ambitious, driven and detail-oriented. Someone who can be trusted to deliver.
