Financial Controller

Our client are a market leading manufacturing business, they are now seeking an ambitious qualified accountant who is ready to take the lead finance role for this autonomous division. Taking ownership for the divisions reporting, financial control and planning you will report directly to the MD to ensure strategic objectives are met with a dotted line into the Global CFO. Duties will include:-

• Managing the day to day running of the accounting function for site including management of a small team
• Ensure accurate and timely reporting of monthly results and balance sheet reconciliations
• Prepare monthly forecasts and yearly plans along with variance analysis
• Ensure compliance to all established group accounting policies and procedures
• Work closely with operations and sales in order to optimise performance
• Provide reporting and supporting analysis for non finance to ensure effective financial decision making across the site

Ideally you will be a qualified accountant who is ready to take the lead role within a dynamic business. Experience gained within a manufacturing environment would be beneficial along side the desire to progress your finance career.
