Head of Finance required to work closely with the Board of Directors at an executive level, overseeing the company's financial requirements and activities whilst ensuring legal and financial compliance. Although a permanent role, an interim candidate will be considered whilst the right person is found. I would therefore be keen to hear from both permanent and interim candidates.

You must be ACCA/CIMA qualified and have the drive to challenge and advise Directors on a variety of projects. Strong Finance Business Partnering skills are essential and you must be capable of taking full responsibility for the financial activities of an SME organisation.
Experience

- Finance Business Partnering skills
- Background working in FMCG organisations
- Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent Excel skills
- Experience in advising Board level colleagues
Responsibilities
- Monthly management accounts
- WIP/accruals valuation
- Analysis of actuals to budget/forecast
- Annual financial budgets
- Daily cash management and forecasting
- Credit Control
- Payroll and PAYE
- Control of bank accounts
- Fixed Asset Register
- Monthly VAT returns
- Analyse data and make recommendations to the board
- Work closely with the MD on projects
