PwC's South East Asia Consulting (SEAC) operates across six territories (Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, Vietnam, Indonesia and Philippines) and is comprised of approximately 1,100 people.
Key responsibilities: ensuring quality and timeliness of monthly financial and management reporting, providing key insights and meaningful analysis into the financial results, managing cash flow and liquidity of the regional practice, providing recommendations on contractual risks to minimise legal liabilities of the practice, providing inputs at key leaders' meetings so as to provide inputs from a financial perspective, setting up policies and procedures to govern the practice, annual budgeting

Other responsibilities : Adhoc projects such as acquisitions of entities, rolling out of new initiatives, continuous enhancements of existing finance processes, providing advice on minimising tax exposures in the regional practice

Key highlights: working with multiple parties in various continents and managing a partnership culture made up of a diverse group of energetic leaders makes this role very interesting. Never a dull day.

Reporting line: Reports into the SEA CEO, with a dotted line to the ASEANZ CFO and working closely with SEA COO

About you

Qualifications: Min Degree holder with at least 15 years of post-graduate experience, 5 of which should be leading a team of no less than 5 people. Preference will be given to candidates in a similar role.

Audit experience: Minimum 3 years of prior experience as an auditor in a Big 4 firm.

Regional experience: Regional responsibilities across Southeast Asia within a multi-national organisation, ideally in Financial Services or Professional Services organisations

Technical capabilities: Substantial management accounting and financial accounting experience

Change management: Demonstrated ability to lead changes and projects, and communications with senior leaders within the organisation

Leadership qualities: demonstrate leadership skills in managing a diverse team of people from finance in various countries and from diverse backgrounds, qualifications and seniority
