Why we're hiring:

WPP utilises various Cloud Service Providers, including Amazon Web Services, Microsoft Azure and Google Cloud Platform to provide solutions to the organisation. We are building a Cloud Centre of Excellence that will become a focal point of cloud subject matter expertise for the WPP Group

We are in the process of implementing a Cloud Managed Services Provider, who will be responsible for ensuring that our cloud services are performant, secure and architecturally robust. WPP already has a significant Cloud presence and this is only going to grow over the coming months and years.

What you'll be doing:

You'll be responsible for ensuring that our Cloud Managed Service Provider is delivering against its service targets and is meeting contractual obligations. Working in conjunction with the CMSP and Strategy & Architecture, you will be looking for recommendations to enhance and improve services in Azure, AWS and Google Cloud Platform.

Continuous improvement and development of the CMSP will be high on the agenda. You will be analysing performance reports and identifying opportunities to improve service, ensuring that a high-quality service to our internal customers and stakeholders.

Who you'll be working with:

You'll be based in our brand-new Bangalore location. As our internal customers are globally distributed, you'll be working with our teams from all over the world, but the primary interfaces will be to Operating Company architects, other members of the Cloud Centre of Excellence and the Service Delivery function.

What you'll need:
  • Extensive Service Management experience of managing a third party partner
  • A background service management in a cloud environment is highly preferable
  • A good understanding how to develop and improve service offerings from third party partners
  • Experience of working with global teams in large scale, high complexity environment.
  • Be commercially astute
  • Have a high level understanding of public cloud technologies
  • Be pragmatic, with a creative talent for solving problems
  • Solid communicator, with excellent written and spoken English
  • Experience of managing small teams
