This role is a blend between general office duties and accounting functions.
The Role:
- Perform as front reception
- Provide administration support to the shipping/receiving department and overall office support
- Responsible for telephone, e-email and in-person inquiries from clients and other parties
- Manage inbound/outbound mail
- Purchase general office supplies
- Create supporting documentation for the shipping and receiving team
- Review invoices, code and post AP and AP entries, reconcile company payments, investigate billing discrepancies and support the Controller with other general accounting duties
The Ideal Candidate:
- Previous experience in an administrative support function including reception coupled with a Community College diploma in General Business or Accounting or 2 plus years' related work experience is required
- You must have strong knowledge of Microsoft Office products, including Excel, Word and PowerPoint, as well as, superior telephone manner, strong interpersonal and organizational skills
Compensation: $17-18/hour
