The Role You Could Play:

As the Digital Business Analyst, you will play a critical role within digital delivery and will be involved in a variety of digital initiatives across MECCA Brands to achieve our goal to be #1 Beauty Destination in ANZ.

As part of the Digital Product team you will be a key liaison between the business teams and IT development and day to day be responsible for writing, analysing, communicating and validating business requirements for new applications and other new digital initiatives / solutions.

Key responsibilities including:
  • Conducting project scoping and requirements gathering workshops and sessions
  • Defining requirements and solutions whilst considering the context of the product vision, purpose and mission
  • Using Google Analytics, Crazy Egg, Usabilla and other tools to identify opportunities to improve the user experience
  • Translating requirements into intuitive and detailed functional specifications and user stories
  • Building high level business case commercials for initiatives


As a functional expert on our applications and business processes, you will analyse the needs of the business and identify opportunities for improvement and/or design solutions to meet those needs.

What You Will Bring:

You will be able to demonstrate proven experience delivering digital initiatives as part of a high performing agile team. You will be an innovative thinker with strong problem-solving skills and a customer-first, growth mindset.

You will also need exceptional communications skills and the ability to present analysis and findings in both verbal and written formats to all levels of management.

Other key skills and experience we are looking for include:
  • Good understanding of Agile delivery methodologies such as Scrum and Kanban
  • Good understanding of product management principles
  • Experience working in product and project landscapes
  • Strong systems aptitude and proficiency with Microsoft applications
  • Ability to multitask and handle multiple priorities across multiple stakeholders
  • Experience in Jira/Confluence for managing boards and product/projection documentation


Experience in online retailing in FMCG (fashion or beauty) would be highly beneficial.
