Work Type: Full Time permanent/Term Contract
You will have frontline strategic and operational responsibility for all aspects of the Finance Department including asset accounting, revenue, rates, procurement, budget management and financial accounting. You will also provide key support to the Director Corporate and Financial Services across cultural and business transformation initiatives while ensuring the integrity of financial systems and information and 100% compliance with all legislative requirements.
Tertiary qualified in an accounting/finance discipline, you will have a strong finance management track record with strategic and operational experience across all key touch points including budgets and forecasting, procurement, audit and risk, and strategic planning. Equally important will be the ability and drive to lead and inspire your own teams in a collaborative, outcome-focused environment. Local Government experience would be a distinct advantage.
