Leading financial services client based in the heart of Sydney's CBD are looking to hire a Senior Business Analyst with a strong background in Data Management projects. You will be strong business focused Business Analyst with recent experience in the data management / data governance / data lineage space. This is an initial 12 month fixed term assignment paying $130K + Super. The client is more than happy to discuss flexible working arrangement, part time etc..

The main roles and responsibilities of this Sydney based Business Analyst role are highlighted below
- Work with senior stakeholders to ensure fit-for-purpose and sustainability of solutions
- Support the development of data control & data lineage requirements
- Design and implement a new operating model to support information management on the new data lineage platform
- Maintain compliance with the Group's information management policies
- Utilise strong influencing and stakeholder management skills to promote information management practices throughout the organisation
- Support the team to manage the communication channels throughout the business
- Promote data commercialisation opportunities
- Collaborate with stakeholders on the change process
The main skills and experience required for this role are highlighted below
- Strong track record in Data Management, including knowledge of data governance / data lineage
- Previous experience in the design on new business / target operating models and overall process design
- Excellent written and oral communication
- Excellent stakeholder management experience
- Knowledge of data quality and data protection management
- Knowledge of data related government regulatory requirements
- Business change experience is highly advantageous
