Finance Analyst

Exciting opportunity for an experienced, part-qualified Finance Analyst in Edinburgh paying up to £23,000. Your new company This company is a recognised public sector organisation looking to add a Finance Analyst into their banking division. Your new role You will be a valuable addition to the organisation's banking team, ensuring that the team meets all relevant KPI's and SLA's while keeping a close eye on transactions, reconciliations and analysis of key bank accounts. You will be involved in the creation, approval and posting of key bank accounts and will take charge of the banking month-end. You will be the escalation point for banking enquiries for internal and external stakeholders. What you'll need to succeed You will be a natural communicator, problem solver and a highly organised individual with a basic understanding of how the banking function operates and how it aligns with the AP and AR functions. You will have a high degree of Excel skills and experience in providing financial analysis/reporting relating to the banking function. You will have had experience in statutory reporting relating to year end audits and a firm grasp on working in a fast paced environment. You will ideally have started pursuing a formal accountancy qualification with the view to actively continue this with the support of the organisation.
