Assistant Accountant

Anderson Knight is currently working on behalf of a major client based in the heart of Glasgow. Reporting to the Operational Finance Team Leader the key duties of this role will include: Preparation of daily funds release for a growing mortgage book Application of financial transactions to the mortgage platform Daily reconciliation and cash sweep of cleared funds Payment of 3rd party invoices Process expense claims Actively contribute to achievement of departmental KPI's The ideal candidate will possess the following skillset: Experience for working within Financial Services sector, mortgage experience is advantageous Excellent communication and oral skills Ability to meet tight financial deadlines Excellent attention to detail Ability to work in a fast paced environment In return our client will offer excellent hands on experience within a pro active and forward thinking operation.
