Role Overview:

This role in Global Banking Technology is within Security Services portfolio for the position of [Business Analyst]. Position will be key to strategic deliverables on CCIB data analytics, Excess balance etc

Key Responsibilities
• Analyze on Business Requirements and define the specifications.
• Perform Quality Assurance.
• Work with stakeholders and counterparts in Singapore to prepare and execute a Backlog
• Involve in the stories refinement.
• Agile mindset
• Facilitating design sessions with the implementation team to define the solution.
• Delivering elements of systems design, including data migration rules, business rules, wireframes, or other detailed deliverables.
• 5+ years of experience in banking domain knowledge with IT working experience and must to have a Agile experience
• Good in SQL, Scripting , data analysis and good at Excel/VBA and nice to BDD / Features Files experience and

Atlassian suite of Delivery tools.
• Prior experience in data domain and analytics.
• Participating in UAT for smooth rollout of the projects.
• Meet with team regularly to review project deliverables and deadlines

Preferred Candidate Profile :

Ideal candidate must have proven credentials of delivering in world class engineering teams. With a bachelor's degree in Computer Science, engineering or equivalent discipline, he/she must have relevant experience fulfilling responsibilities of the position. A MBA in finance is an added plus, the candidate must have a strong grasp on foundational elements of desired core competencies. Must be a confident self-starter with ability collaborate and devise solutions. Must model behaviours that facilitate Agile delivery and must be willing to learn. Relevant industry certifications are an added plus.

• Demonstrate up-to-date expertise in Information Systems and apply this to the development, execution and improvement of action plans by providing advice and guidance to others in the application of information and best practices
• Constantly be on the lookout for ways to improve monitoring, discover issues and deliver better value to the customer Identifying/Gathering/ Questioning and challenging when necessary/ documenting the interface requirements front to back
• Elicit and clearly document business and systems requirements
• Assess business process and system inefficiencies
• Good understanding of Banking Products (FM, Trade , Cash) and Segments especially Corporate and Commercial Banking
• Demonstrated fluency in business processes and process differentiation
• Ability to analyze and synthesize business requirements, including recognizing patterns and conceptualizing processes
• Requirement documentation skills, to see and document the unstated requirements
• Highly effective verbal and written English communication skills.

Preferred competencies :
• Detail knowledge of risk ecosystem (preferably in Corporate & institutional clients domain) with understanding of associated applications, down-streams/up-streams, products, process, Hadoop framework and reporting.
