Are you a talented IS/IT Business Analyst ready to join Nestle new IT Platforms Connectivity, Voice and Conferencing team in Sydney, Australia? You will serve as a liaison between the IS/IT & Business Consumers and Customers. As part of the Product Team, you will be bringing deep understanding to the opportunities and issues facing your business function and advising on the best solutions.

You will be able to translate business strategies, opportunities, threats and needs into IS/IT product requirements. You will play a key role within the product team to specify, test and deploy these as IS/IT solutions. You will be supporting the regional team with project management expertise and coordination.

A DAY IN THE LIFE...

Reporting to the Senior Operations Manager, responsibilities of this role include:

  • Develop, motivate and direct staff belonging to business and IS/IT to understand the business needs.
  • Help staff to identify pain points and the best solution that will both align with the customer objectives and the IS/IT strategy.
  • Support the Product Manager and Business Relationship Manager (BRM) in developing the strategy through innovation and incremental improvement of the product.
  • Support the analysis and resolution of solution issues as part of the third level sustain.
  • Design business scenarios and use cases for the product mix, including product introduction, specification and the change management required to maximize its adoption and value.
  • Work with IS/IT Product Managers to define the minimum viable product (MVP) that satisfies the business need and provides the desired value.
  • Identify gaps in existing functionalities, options for improvement and opportunities for process automation.
  • Responsible for identifying security & compliance requirements, including roles, associated with the business process and ensure that they are considered in the solution design.
  • Assess near-term needs, using structured interview processes and consumer research methods, to understand opportunities and help the business establish priorities.
  • Consult with product teams and propose alternative solutions. Advise on options, risks, costs versus benefits and impact on other business processes and product priorities.
  • Analyze, document and test program development, logic, process flows and specifications.
  • Document training materials for the product area and train end users, deployment and support teams


ARE YOU A FIT?

  • Joining a collaborative team of Specialists, you will be a strong team player with a history of delivering results in a high pressure and dynamic environment.
  • Bachelor's degree in business, information systems or related discipline or equivalent
  • Experience working in an Agile / DevOps environment using design thinking methodology and various software development methodologies (e.g. Agile, Waterfall) - Preferred
  • Strong understanding of basic system engineering, information risk, security guidelines and architecture standards.
  • Understanding of business processes and ability to translate it into products requirements.
  • Project Management experience and/or PMP certification preferred
  • Effective communication and presentation skills are vital as you develop working partnerships with internal and external stakeholders, such as service integrators, service provides and vendors across the globe (face-to-face and remote)
  • With stakeholders based in various time zones, flexibility is essential as you participate in teleconferences and activities outside of standard business hours.
