About the Role

Reporting directly to the Financial Accounting Manager ANZ, you will be responsible for overall accounting within our SAP system working alongside local finance and our global business who does a large part of the processing within SAP. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced financial accountant to join our team at our Head Office in Macquarie Park. We have a COVID safe environment and flexible working arrangements in place.

Your Responsibilities:
  • Detailed SAP knowledge required to review working capital and sub-ledger activities
  • Prepare and review various monthly reconciliations of the General Ledger ensuring that the balance sheet is correct. Complete expense analysis, providing commentary as required.
  • Provide analysis on all major variances in the P&L on a monthly basis, working with overseas to correct any transactional data
  • HFM supplemental preparation for 2 countries
  • Monthly capital expenditure review to budget
  • Manage the cash balances including foreign exchange exposure
  • Complete Financial Statements with supported working papers and reconciliations
  • Provide financial information for management and carry out other accounting duties as requested

Technically Speaking You Will have:
  • Accounting / Business Degree
  • Advanced SAP experience
  • Experience operating in a SOX environment preferred
  • Sound knowledge of financial systems and processes
  • CA/CPA qualified
  • Advanced MS office skills including excel
  • Experience in dealing with senior sales and finance personnel
