Job Description

Your new role

As the Senior Business Analyst, you will work closely with data and business analysts within the Data Services team to develop data management capabilities and analytics to support investment decision making and implementation activity. You will be responsible for delivering solutions from initiation to deployment, including defining requirements, technical design and testing activities with a strong emphasis on stakeholder management, both internal and external.

Some of your key responsibilities will be:
  • Assess and build up data management capability utilising internal systems and utilise these systems to derive applicable solutions for business reporting needs
  • Develop and maintain professional working relationships with stakeholders and service providers, collaborate to achieve the desired outcome
  • Document and review business requirements, understand business' needs and articulate into specifications for development
  • Source, cleanse, and transform data to meet solution design and implement processes to capture exceptions, improve quality and coverage
  • Develop comprehensive test plans, assisting with both development and user acceptance testing activities
  • Produce procedures and training materials

You'll need...
  • Experience within financial services sector, superannuation ideal
  • An understanding of investment processes, instruments and fund structures
  • Investment data and reporting experience
  • Proven background in project delivery
  • Ability to develop technical operating models and defining process improvement initiatives
  • Strong relationship building skills with an ability to manage multiple stakeholders concurrently
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Ability to influence and negotiate successful outcomes
