Education/Qualifications
- Analyse financial risks losses, including business interruption, stock, fidelity, product recall, product guarantee, by investigating claims through detailed analysis of accounting records, external sources & general enquiry. Prepare very high quality spreadsheet analysis of information provided by others. Provide analytical assistance and support to other team members.
Key Responsibilities
- Investigate and assess financial insurance losses as directed by other staff.
- Gather evidence and assist in preparation of expert witness reports for use in legal proceedings.
- Maintain company reputation and insurance product integrity by complying with federal and state regulations and corporate quality standards.
- Maintain professional and technical knowledge through continuing education.

Experience/Knowledge Required
- Experience as generalist accountant or auditor or equivalent preferred
- 2-3 years experience in an accounting practice or equivalent
- Rural background or familiarity with farming would be well regarded
- Prefer candidates that have been affected by current economic downturn

- Member of Chartered or Certified Institute of Accountants or working towards qualification.
- Relevant Bachelor Degree.
