Senior Financial Analyst
My Client is looking for a talented Senior Financial Analyst to join their team located in Alpharetta GA. This role is heavy in Revenue budgeting/forecasting, full P&L support, financial statement preparation/review, preparing monthly review packages for Operations and Senior Management. You will provide analysis as needed for financial reporting, financial presentations and other ad hoc projects.

Responsibilities include the management of the budgeting and forecasting processes, including detailed and accurate analysis and reporting for the Operations and Finance leadership team. YOU NEED TO BE MORE THAN A NUMBER CRUNCHER OR A DATA JOCKEY. The ability to interpret the data, conduct analysis and draw valid conclusions and outcomes is a critical part of this role.

Primary activities:
- Review and reconcile revenue and operating expenses and provide detailed analysis of variances, identify key drivers and provide/implement viable solutions.
- Work closely with Supply/Demand, Marketing and Sales partners
- Support Financial and Management reporting for weekly and monthly reviews
- Search for continuous improvement, make recommendations, prepare improvement plans and work cross functionally to effectively implement the plan.
- Heavy analysis of financial results and data, identify critical and relevant information and interpret the data in order to project future financial performance based on relevant historical data and results.
- Create Financial models for trend analysis, "what if" scenarios, etc.
- Perform ad hoc analytical studies and effectively communicate results
Educational Needs and Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in finance or accounting (Master's Degree desirable)
- CPA or CPA track highly preferred
- 3-6 Years related work experience.
- Advanced knowledge in the use of software applications, databases
- Strong Modeling Skills
- Strong EXCEL Skills
- Ability to build strong cross functional relationships
