Financial Analyst/Accountant - Saline, MI

Description:

• Perform month end closing activities, including journal entries, reconciliations and financial statements preparation


• Analyze financial results, identify trends and recommend actions for optimization


• Perform financial forecasting, reporting & operational metrics tracking


• Collaborate with various R&D departments for budget preparation, provide budget guidance and review department budget submission


• Ad hoc management reporting and presentation


• Assets management, control and reporting


• Support the implementation of SAP

Requirements:

• BS Degree in Accounting, CPA preferred


• 5+ years of professional level experience. Project management preferred


• Experience in Financial reporting with high competency in problem solving & data analysis


• Highly proficient in Microsoft Excel (v-lookup, pivot tables, charts/pivot charts- must), Powerpoint and Word.


• Ability to analyze data from several resources to develop and support projections & make recommendations to executive management.


• Working knowledge of ERP system (PeopleSoft, SAP a plus)


• Ability to prioritize tasks and multitask
