The Role Responsibilities

Provide finance business partnering support to senior T&I stakeholders. The role is global in nature and based out of Singapore.
  • Provide routine MI for various stakeholders on performance vs budgets and business efficiency targets for specific departments within T&I.
  • Spend considerable time partnering with the T+I team to bridge the understanding between activity and cost and what they can do to influence the cost base and optimise. Work with the organisation to support the commitments of the corporate plan.
  • Seek ways of improving communication on financial performance with key stakeholders.
  • Produce ad hoc analytics and insight on the global cost base to drive transparency and help drive the productivity agenda.
  • Drive internal process improvements for the T+I Finance team.
  • Take the lead in managing the extended team deliverables from Global Financial Services (GFS).
  • Managing end-to-end the budgets, forecasts, flash, business efficiencies tracking and headcount controls for the T+I team you support, including the recharges to businesses and countries for TPS cost for the areas supported as well as Investments and Head Office recharges.
  • Accountable for ensuring adequate financial controls and balance sheet management are in place. Particular focus on cross border recharges, accruals and prepayments and software development spend on the balance sheet.
  • Actively contribute to the wider Finance change agenda.
  • Liaising with auditors, and colleagues in other finance sections as appropriate.


Our Ideal Candidate

  • Qualified accountant with preferably 10+ years PQE with IT / Technology business experience.
  • Experience of managing costs and business partnering for cost portfolios.
  • Skilled when it comes to attention to detail.
  • Familiarity project reporting would be beneficial.
  • Experience of driving change and process re-engineering.
  • Strong analytical skills in Excel and Powerpoint
  • Be able to constructively challenge and influence where appropriate to ensure the overall goals of the business and the bank are aligned.
  • Always acts in the best interests of the bank and its customers.
  • Become a trusted business advisor and key point of contact for T+I Finance matters.
  • Act as a key source of reference and guidance on financial control frameworks - finance subject matter expert.
