We are looking for a highly motivated individual to join our Production Support team.

As the customer experience continues to influence how we do business, we will focus on creating an experience that is effortless, easy and meaningful to our customers (GB Plan Sponsor Administration Services and GB Plan Sponsor Financial & Risk Management). Our Production Support team provides business analysis support to a variety of applications and tools.

In this role, you will work through business impacts, gather and communicate business requirements, define user acceptance testing requirements and support day to day production teams. You will work to understand current state by acquiring information, with the right level of detail from many different partner groups, domain specialists, and technical resources. You will get along with all teams we support as well as IS and various levels of management.

We are responsible for understanding, analyzing and defining the requirements of the business. We then, create and support the solutions that meet those requirements. The Business Analyst communicates the requirements to the developers, works with the business area to implement and roll out deliverables.

  • Support the business with major production problem resolution
  • Liaison between IS & business units
  • Communicate and "translate" the activities and problems between IS and the business
  • Work with IS to prioritize their service and/or task logs to the business
  • Support problem resolution through root cause analysis and strategic, creative thinking
  • Investigate and organize enhancements & defects of both IS controlled applications and business developed applications
  • Assist with test plans and organize business involvement in releases (UAT & ATP)
  • Initiate system changes that better meet the requirements of the business
  • Understand IS & business-related constraints and communicate so that both sides work together efficiently
  • Take ownership of the support of both IS and business side applications. Work with BSA's and developers on the improvement of applications through the elicitation and documentation of system requirements
  • Look for ways to improve/ streamline the way we work and how we service our customers and stakeholders


What you bring to the table
  • Previous business analysis experience or strong system knowledge
  • Proven knowledge of at least one business area (PDS, PMA, AdminAdvantage, SFS)
  • Understand how Plan Sponsor Administration Services and GB Plan Sponsor Financial & Risk Management systems and processes integrate and potential impacts on operations.
  • Lean training/certification is preferable
  • Ability to multitask, exhibiting flexibility and good judgment in assessing business priorities
  • Experience with learning new products, technologies and tools
  • Good analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Thorough knowledge of analysis (information gathering, requirements writing, UAT testing etc.)
  • Ability to identify tasks and deliverables and provide estimates of your required effort
  • Ability to identify and pursue continuous improvements and generate new and unique ideas
  • Proven ability to quickly and easily adapt to changes within the business and organization.
  • Excellent oral and written communication
  • Strong time management and organizational skills
  • Demonstrated ability to be innovative, creative and work with peers and across departments/ projects/ locations
  • Excellent negotiating skills and an ability to successfully manage inter-departmental work relationships.
  • Strong influencing skills with ability to make sound recommendations
