This well established firm in Central Melbourne has an opportunity available for an experienced auditor to join their team.
Your new role
This senior auditor will be part of a team and perform a range of auditing functions including:
- Developing strong relations with code clients
- Documenting client conversations as necessary
- Communicating budget/fee variances to clients
- Commitment to quality procedures contained in the Firms Audit TAC policies
- Complying with and knowledge of the firm's policies and office procedures
- Scheduling engagements to staff
- Ensuring the timely delivery of engagements and setting engagement timelines and budget
- Obtaining and analysing practice management reports
- Ensuring Codes client/contact databases are up to date
- Producing workflow reports in a timely manner and participating effectively in workflow meetings
- Minimising write off time/fees for code
- Providing regular feedback to relevant Partner(s) re progress of team/individual financial targets
- Ensuring new clients are properly engaged according to firm policy
- Accurately and timely processing all internally related documentation
- Contributing to the development of office systems
- Providing feedback/ongoing communication to Code staff on financial target progression/achievements
What you'll need to succeed
To be considered for this position you will need:
- Experience working at a senior level in medium to large firms
- Auditing experience, ideally at a senior level
- A positive and hard working attitude
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
- A high level of professionalism and commitment to company values
