Your new company
This established sales and servicing business in the Northern Suburbs is looking to appoint an experienced Assistant Accountant or Finance Officer to join their team on a permanent basis. Reporting to the Financial Controller the Assistant Accountant will be a key member of the Finance team helping to ensure the accuracy, reliability, timeliness, efficiency and integrity of their finance function.

You'll ideally have either a degree or a Diploma in accounting or related discipline however if you can demonstrate some exposure to the above tasks and experience supporting a qualified accountant you'll still be considered. You'll have excellent attention to detail and time management skills and will enjoy being part of a stable team and adding value.

- Bank reconciliations
- Process accruals prepayments
- Intercompany transactions
- Back up support to AP and AR
- Assist with preparation of P&L
- Assist with fixed assets and depreciation schedules
- Assist with budgeting and forecasting
- Help prepare BAS and statutory obligations
- Preparation of accurate and supported month end journals
- Inventory and stock analysis
