Senior Financial Analyst

Fantastic opportunity for an experienced Financial Accountant to step into a 6 months contract role with a Mining giant. Working in a 'hands-on' role you will be part of a fun and supportive team environment. Based in Perth's CBD you will have flexible working hours and the option of working from home.

No previous Mining or Resources sector experience required!

Office based work in a team environment, you must be currently based in Western Australia.

Key Responsibilities:
• Preparation of presentations and finance reports for the business unit Finance Business Partner
• Reviewing business unit Hyperion Financial Management (HFM) packs
• Responding to queries from Group Reporting in company HQ
• Preparing half year/annual disclosures to Group Reporting in HQ
• Supporting statutory teams with preparation and review of annual financial statements
• Coordinate annual external audit
• Prepare financial analysis for Board of Directors meetings
• Support Financial Services with preparation of data for various tax submissions

Key Requirements:
• You must be currently based in Western Australia
• Fully CA/CPA qualified or equivalent
• Audit training background
• Previous and recent experience of working in a similar position
• SAP experience desirable
• Hyperion (HFM) experience desirable
• Experience of working in a large multinational business preferred
• Sounds technical accounting skill set and knowledge
