Description Department: Finance, Finance Professional Services Centre (Manchester) Reports to: UK Regulatory Reporting Production Manager Job Description:
The UK RegulatoryReporting Production Accountant will be responsible for the production of regulatory submissions relating to UK Bankingentities, including both external and internal monitoring deliverables.

TheUK regulatory reporting team are part of the EMEA Finance Professional ServicesCentre (FPSC), which is a team of finance professionals based in Manchester,which provides excellent financial services to the EMEA Controllers group ofBNY Mellon. EMEA Controllers is a specialist function responsible for the booksand records of the EMEA legal entities, regulatory & statutory reportingand ensuring a robust control environment. It is part of the EMEA Financedepartment, which consists finance professionals spread across EMEA, plusoffshore support in Chennai. The Regulatory Reporting Production team is thelargest team within the EMEA Finance Professional Services Centre responsiblefor producing internal and external regulatory reporting returns acrossmultiple EMEA locations.
Job Purpose:
Thisrole will be responsible for the production of multiple regulatory deliverablesfor UK entities to the Bank of England and FSA, working with the Finance Controllers, Risk, Compliance and variousfunctions across EMEA. Whilst the production of the delegated deliverables isthe responsibility of this role, the overall oversight and accountability willremain with the relevant Finance Controller in each location.

The rolewill have primary responsibility to produce all BOE and FSA for the relevant UKbanking entities to a high standard to tight deadlines within a strict controlenvironment, working closely with the Market Centre to improves processes andinterpretations.

Responsibilitieswill include the following:

• Reporting -productionof high quality regulatory returns, analytics and MI in a timely fashion,ensuring that the all reports meet reporting deadlines and qualityexpectations.
• Oversight &Controls - maintain a strong operational control environment with well evidencedreviews, checklists and procedures.
• Stakeholder management- Work with market centre financial controller other business areasparticularly Treasury, Business Finance and business management in theproduction of regulatory returns and advisory work.
• Knowledge - Stayabreast of legislative and regulatory developments, as well as maintain theirknowledge of External Reporting requirements and procedures.
• Other - assist withthe provision of regulatory support for relevant projects e.g. Vendor platform migration,legal entity restructuring and new branches, new business start-ups and productlaunches. Perform other functions as required from time-to-time.

SkillsSought:

• Part QualifiedAccountant - ACCA/ACA/CIMA/CPA Full Accreditation or with an equivalent levelof experience
• Regulatory Reportingexperience an advantage
• Process improvement,change management and controls experience in a complex global environment
• Significantexperience of accounting systems and processes (e.g.advanced user of excel)
• Organizedand structured working methodology, attention to detail and highly motivated
• Experienceof a fast moving, highly controlled, multi-national/ functional organization
