Your new company
Hays is delighted to be partnered with a well-known international business in order to recruit for a Corporate Tax specialist for a FTC until December 2021. This also offers the potential of becoming a permanent role. You will work within an experienced and established international tax team which spans the globe. This opportunity is suited to an experienced Assistant Manager or Manager wishing to transition into industry, or equally a Tax Accountant with a proven track record of operating in-house already. Given present guidance, this role will be completed remotely (initially), but the business offers good flexible working in normal circumstances also.

Your new role
Your new role is diverse; covering UK corporate tax compliance, accounting, reporting and planning. Projects may relate to (but are not exclusive to) restructuring, management fee refresh, Senior Accounting Officer, Criminal Corporate Offence, tax strategy publication, cash repatriation and handling ongoing HMRC enquiries. You will also be responsible for completing any ad-hoc requests or queries from the wider Group.

What you'll need to succeed
You will exhibit strong UK Corporate Tax technical knowledge covering compliance and supporting advisory, gained either in-house or a Practice environment. This will ideally be complimented by a relevant qualification, but this is not essential should your experience be suited. You will have excellent communication and organisation skills, and ability to work to your own initiative. You will be motivated and hard-working, with a passion for delivering high-quality tax work.

What you'll get in return
You will receive a competitive salary, in the region of £50,000 depending upon your experience. The company also offers a strong benefits package, including a 10% bonus, 35 holidays, private medical, and group income protection. With all bar one of the current tax employees having been recruited on a FTC and then made permanent, there is potentially the opportunity to follow suit. Both flexible and remote working are available.
