Compliance Assistant
South Cheshire
Salary of up to £38,000 plus benefits
I am pleased to be engaged by a leading and long standing Financial Planning practice in Cheshire seeking to add to their compliance team. The position will entail working closely with the Head of Compliance in all aspects of internal systems and controls, as well as the FCA record keeping requirements. The position gives a great opportunity for the appointee to make their mark, and make a real difference to the business in what is such a highly regulated market.
The key duties and responsibilities associated with this position include:
* Ensure the firm's clients are treated fairly at all times
* Ensure reports, letters and recommendations produced within the firm meet the internal as well as regulatory requirements
* Keep up to date on all regulatory and legislative changes within the Financial Planning sector
* Assisting the Head of Compliance as and when required with the firm's FCA record keeping requirements and deadlines
This opportunity would suit a candidate with detailed expertise and exposure to the FCA rules and requirements as well as broad knowledge of the Financial Advisory market. Holding the Diploma in Regulated Financial Planning is also an important requirement for your application to be considered. The appointee will have excellent interpersonal skills and attention to detail too.
