Our client are looking for an audit senior who is qualified or close to qualifying to join their team in Peterborough, in a pivotal role within their large regional team
You will be personable(communication skills are key) and a good team player, have existing skills in a practice environment and be keen to develop further in Audit
The role will be 90% audit, so would suit someone with a strong audit background and who has worked as either an Audit Trainee, Audit semi senior, or Audit senior in recent roles
The role will entail:
Planning of audits for review by Manager
Preparation of required paperwork prior to assignment
Completing of the audit file
Working under minimal supervision, delegate some elements of testing to more junior members of staff where appropriate and design specific tests if appropriate
Resolving simple queries and referring more complex issues to more senior members of staff
Working to ensure that jobs are completed within budgets
Drafting tax computations
Undertaking assigned tasks on client premises to agreed plan
Professional liaison with client and/or client's staff
Accounts finalisation, file completion and tax computations
