Job Information
1.      Position title: Assistant Manager / Senior / Semi-Senior - Tax & Accounting

4.      Salary grade: Up to RM7,000 per month (depends on overall experience, expertise and background)

8.      Work location: Unit B-7-5, Tower B, Vertical Business Suites, Bangsar South, 59200 Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.
9.      Number of position: 1 contractual / permanent position available immediately
10.   Expectation:  To emphasize, we are looking for candidate who is having can-do and positive attitude, willing to learn and can work well independently. Candidate with related working experiences will be an added advantage. Good qualification is important but is not the top priority in our people development policy.
Job Dimension
This position reports to Managing Director and / or head of division and carries the responsibilities to assure high quality of operating process of Tax & Accounting Services Division. The position carries expectation to initiate changes, develop initiatives and perform standard operating procedures effectively and efficiently to support the excellent delivery of tax and accounting services
Job Responsibilities
1.      Committed to support Managing Director and / or head of division to manage tax and accounting services' functions to assure day-to-day operations' efficiency and effectiveness.
2.      Execute the job portfolio by performing operations, coordination and controlling functions in tax and accounting services, including but not limited to staffs supervision and training, job planning, updating of latest developments, clients management, business development, finance & accounting, billing & collection, budgeting, and office admin.
3.      Execute the job role from tax advisory perspective for the clients, i.e. companies and individuals, such as provide effective tax planning solutions and implement tax planning initiatives.
4.      Execute the job role from tax technical perspective for the clients such as perform and review tax estimates, tax computations and returns for companies and individuals, to ensure compliance to the stipulated deadlines and legislations.
5.      Execute the job role from accounting operations perspective for the clients such as provide planning solutions on P&L, balance sheet and cash flow, perform and review budget, forecast and analysis, setup accounting solution and chart of accounts, book-keeping, treasury, and documentation.
6.      Required to liaise with Inland Revenue Board of Malaysia in resolving tax matters of the clients; and ensure all tax audit requests and queries are responded on timely manner, adequate and accurate.
7.      Required to work closely with external parties such as clients or clients' representatives, external auditors, tax consultants, company secretary, finance counterparts of creditors and debtors, regulators, and IT & system vendors to assure high tax and accounting services, governance, operational and regulatory compliance standard.
8.      Ensure proper, accurate, complete and timely development & preparation of analytics and reports, processing of documents, process & documentation flow and filing system.
9.      Continuously involve in process improvement to advance performance and service standard.
10.   Provide support services and accommodate additional & ad-hoc duties as assigned from time-to-time.
Job Requirements

Essential and Functional Skills Required
1.      Candidate must possess at least a Diploma or Bachelor Degree in Accounting or equivalent. Candidate with or currently is studying professional qualification such as ACCA, CIMA, CPA, MIA, CTIM or equivalent will be an added advantage.
2.      Specializing in taxation, auditing and / or accounting services domain functionality will be an added advantage.
3.      Preferably with 3 years' experience in tax planning, advisory, audits and operations in professional or corporate services firm environment. 
4.      Strong up-to-date knowledge and recent experience in working practices, rules, regulations and legislations of direct and indirect taxation, individual and corporate taxation.
5.      Competent in Microsoft Office applications and business information system.
6.      Good command of English, Bahasa Malaysia and maybe Mandarin (will be a plus for Mandarin speaking clientele segment).
