As part of the Strategy & Planning team, the role will provide an enriching scope and experience in the shaping of NCS business, capability and regional market growth. The Business Analyst will have a keen focus on mergers and acquisition (M&A) along with strategy work.
Responsibilities:
- Leverage market knowledge, relationships, and critical thinking to research and analyze potential acquisition targets
- Work with business and commercial leads to develop M&A priorities by business segment
- Conduct financial analysis, valuation modeling, presentation writing, and manage relationships with third party advisors
- Build and oversee development of valuation models using comparable companies, precedent transactions and DCF models, analyzing historical financial statements, develop projections and synergy cases with commercial leads and management, develop sensitivities, and form view on transaction structure
- Lead process of performing diligence, working with cross-functional team and key internal stakeholders and external advisors with the aim of enabling successful transaction execution
- Support post-acquisition integration activities across NCS business functions, including business unit sponsor, finance, human resource and legal to ensure effective integration of acquired business
- Conduct research and create point-of-views for key strategic areas of business interest
- Support corporate strategy and planning exercise and execute strategic and transformational initiatives and activities
- Deliver presentations to NCS leadership team
