The Role: The Senior Manager, Financial Planning & Analysis will be responsible for the overall finance management support and act as business partner to various business divisions within S&P Global.

The Skills: The ideal candidate should have solid experience working as business partner in delivering better decision support and enabling strategic initiatives which helps to improve organization financial performance. Strong analytical mindset and cognitive skills, coupled with strong business acumen is required to support decision making.

He/She should be independent, highly motivated and committed to the task, delivering results in accordance with the S&P standard. Due to nature of the role, the individual should be able to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide analysis and deliver insights that link financial reports to business strategies. Challenge status quo of the business with an emphasis on shaping the future strategic direction and decision making
  • Connects market intels with business performance for an all-inclusive business performance reporting
  • Initiative and perform value-add analysis to drive efficiency in business
  • Lead and deliver on Digital Finance transformation by identifying areas for technology adoption and streamlining
  • Ad hoc projects


Qualifications
  • Degree or professional qualification in Accounting recognized by ICPAS
  • At least 8 years' experience in finance/accounting industry, with minimum 6 years' experience in Finance business partnering role. Experience in one of the Big 4s will be an added advantage
  • Proficient in using MS Office (Excel, Words & PowerPoint)
  • Proficient in analytics tools (ie: Tableau, Anaplan, SalesForce Analytics etc) will be an advantage
  • Proficient in Chinese language (speaking and reading), an advantage to correspond with China counterparts
  • Strong analytical and interpersonal skills
  • Independent, highly motivated and committed
  • Able to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
