Budget Accountant - 8 Month Term

David Aplin Group, one of Canada's Best Managed Companies, has partnered with our client to recruit for a Budget Accountant for an 8-month contract. The Budget Accountant will work closely with the Director of Finance.

This is an exciting opportunity for a Budget Accountant to join a very well recognized Manitoba organization here in Winnipeg.

The Role:

• Preparing and completing budgets and forecasts for the organization
• Preparing financial information reports for the management team
• Create spreadsheets and reconcile financials by cost centre
• Review budgets, ensuring they are within corporate guidelines
• Completing financial reports as needed

The Ideal Candidate :

• Intermediate standing in a recognized Accounting program
• Over 3 years of experience in a relevant position
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to work independently, be a self-starter and be highly organized
• Advanced skills in Microsoft Office products (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
• Experience with multiple accounting systems; SAP is an asset
• Good communication skills, team orientation, collaborative working style
• Ability to function in a fast-paced environment with changing deadlines and priorities

Salary will range depending on experience.
