Your role:

A unique opportunity has recently opened up as Head of Finance for the Gumtree AU classifieds business of eBay. In this role you will lead Finance Planning, manage the best in class analytics team, decide on future strategy of eBay's businesses in Australia while be part of a fun, highly skilled management team.

• The role requires a professional that can learn quickly, think strategically and provide positive influence throughout the organization.
• You partner closely with the GM to drive growth through growing & delighting our users
• Lead and develop the Gumtree Finance team of 8-10 people to be a driving force in both the success and control of the Benelux business unit
• Drive the strategic direction & process of the unit working with both the GM, LT and the Central eCG Finance function
• Lead the Planning & forecasting process for the unit and govern and facilitate compliance and high quality execution with overall central eCG finance timelines and processes.

Your background:

• Bachelor's degree, Professional finance qualification or MBA preferred
• 12+ years of increasingly responsible experience in finance with a focus on critical thinking, quantitative analysis, people management and financial planning and analysis.
• A multi-national company background from an organization with a highly regarded finance team is important.
• The ideal professional will combine experience in a larger company with experience in smaller, more nimble organizations with broad exposure.
• 5+ years' experience in leading high talented finance teams
• Broad experience presenting to, interacting with and influencing C-level and board level executives
