About You

You are the Head of Finance - Enterprise Technology and Enterprise Security, responsible for the strategic financial management of Enterprise Technology and Security businesses. You are managing a significant and complex BAU and investment budget, and will be responsible for a team of 5.

Day to day you will:

• Provide insight and guidance to the business executives and their leadership teams, to shape and guide their strategic agenda, optimising sustainable financial outcomes including returns on investment spend
• Apply a financial commercial lens to advise and influence business decision making
• Identify financial and non-financial performance trends through critical reviews and use of data analytics, and develop and recommend strategies to improve business performance
• Provide leadership and guidance to the finance team to develop commercial acumen and become proficient in data and analytic tools to support value add trends and insights
• Shape and lead finance optimisation initiatives, including automation/optimisation of manual activities resulting in significant effort reduction in immediate team and across the CFO team
• Lead and support the NAB Group's financial accounting, controlling, forecasting, planning and reporting process for the relevant business
• As a leader on the CFO leadership team, contribute to the translation of the broader Finance strategy, shifting the dial on capability uplift in Finance, and role modelling behaviours aligned to NABs values

Your Skills and Experience:

• Deep experience in senior partnering roles
• Proven leadership background, with the ability to influence at senior levels, drive performance efficiency and support the business to deliver portfolio and performance outcomes
• Ability to interpret and provide insightful analysis to influence decisions and optimise cost
• Basic elements of financial control, budgeting, forecasting and reporting
• A commercial, strategic and agile mindset
• Ability to grasp financial impacts of decisions, bring value-adding insight, and to enable the business to quickly pivot and flex to ensure optimal commercial decision-making
