University Hospitals of Leicester NHS Trust is one of the largest NHS Trusts in the country and this is an opportunity to play a leading role in their large scale change programme and be part of the success story.
The Head of Financial Planning and Analysis post is a critical role as part of the Finance senior management team with lead responsibility for a number of key areas including:
The delivery of timely and accurate reporting of the Trusts financial performance, leading on short term planning and delivery of the relevant external and internal reporting requirements. Contract monitoring and Income will also fall within your remit.
You will be working closely with the SMT across many key areas and so will need to evidence your track record of communicating with, advising and influencing non finance staff.
You will also need to provide leadership and the appropriate management support to the financial planning and analysis team of approximately 20.
To be considered for this role, you must be a qualified accountant and have a track record for delivery within a large and highly complex organisation, preferably within the Health setting.
