Trainee Account Manager

Trainee Account Manager Location : Braintree, Essex, East Anglia, England Salary: Competitive About the Company: An excellent opportunity has arisen within TriConnex for candidates looking for a rewarding and challenging career. We are looking for a Trainee Account Manager to assist in quantity surveying/commercial activities. Assisting the Account Manager, this role will include working as part of the operations team managing and reporting on the financial status of secured contracts, whilst learning and developing commercial and interpersonal skills. Trainee Account Manager Responsibilities: •To assist in providing technical & commercial service from pre-contract to final account. •Maintain appropriate records on the project. •To assist in the preparation and submission of valuations and claims. •To assist in the preparation of interim payment applications and final accounts •To respond effectively to the business and client needs, maintaining excellent customer service. •To monitor the performance of allocated projects and report on profit and loss on allocated projects. •To assist in the procurement of Sub-contract orders and payments. •Commercially accountable for assigned contracts including assisting with forecasting and debt. Trainee Account Manager Requirements: •Financial understanding including cash flow and forecasting is an advantage but not essential •Commercial knowledge is an advantage but no essential •Customer service knowledge and impact on business. •Accounts background is an advantage but nor essential. •Ideally educated to A Level - including Mathematics. •Experience within a commercial environment would be desirable but not essential •Strong IT skills including MS Excel, Word and outlook. •Pro-active and hands on approach, can do attitude. •Enthusiastic and willing to learn •Ability to work within a deadline driven environment. •Ability to work as a member of a team and equally on own initiative. •Strong administrational and coordination skills If you think that you are suitable for this Trainee Account Manager role, please apply now!
