Our partner uses sport as a tool to provide pathways for marginalised youth to break from the cycle of intergenerational poverty and dependence. They require support in preparing their end of year financial statements.

Their flagship programme, set up in the aftermath of Typhoon Haiyan in 2014 initially as a play therapy intervention providing support to survivor children, has now evolved into a holistic, community-based education programme which aligns children's passion for play and encourages commitment to pursue education.

They have requested volunteer support in preparing their end of year financial statements. They do have an external accountant who normally manage this process and this year are working with a new accountancy firm. They have requested support to ensure the new arrangement is working well and that they are following procedures accurately.

A practical and well-defined assignment, while also offering the opportunity to train and build the capacity of the local finance team.
