The role is to further develop and strengthen ITV's risk management and compliance function and to prepare the business for implementation of the outcomes and recommendations proposed by the reviews undertaken by Sir John Kingman and Sir Donald Brydon respectively. The role will play a key part in a broader programme of work to transform finance's operating model and enabling systems.Some Key Responsibilities:Build finance risk reporting mechanisms to feed into the wider risk reporting. Maintain finance risk register/ mitigation. Create and own finance Risk and Control Framework, including Segregation of Duties (SoD)/ Access and Delegation of Authorities (DoA) and control RACI.Govern the financial policies, procedures and accounting manual. Facilitation of and monitoring of control operation, self certification and testing. Identify risks and challenge the 1st line of defence to ensure risks are assessed and mitigated.Set controls financial culture and training expectations. Drive financial control optimisation.Support 1st and 3rd line of defence as requiredGatekeeper for control, access and financial policy. Ensure project and changes are in line with ITV risk and control requirementsDevelop the risk management and compliance community within the businessTo be considered for this opportunity you will need to demonstrate the following skills:ACA with post qualification experience in a Big 4 compliance practice Experience working within a Finance Risk and Compliance role within a UK plc Evidence of building strong relationships, management of key relationships and working successfully in matrix structuresA passion for leading teams through change & developing senior finance professionalsThe ability to deal correctly under pressure when presented with multiple high priority tasks during tight timelinesClosing Date: Tuesday 6th October 2020Find out more about our benefitsWe want to be the most flexible employer in Media.
