The core elements of the strategy are to create a competitive advantage through business and finance navigation, accurate and globally comparative accounting practices, and to provide enterprise wide governance that enables world class performance.
THE OPPORTUNITY
We have an exciting employment opportunity within Finance to join our Summer 2021 Internship Program. This 3-month paid program will give you a chance to gain the inside track on a unique and rewarding experience. Our goal is to make your internship experience exciting, meaningful, and a valuable opportunity to learn about the industry, our Corporate FP&A Systems group, and Bose in particular. You will enrich your classroom work with a real-life perspective and develop valuable skills necessary to succeed after graduation.
Examples of responsibilities include working with financial and forecasting data, examine business procedures, identify areas for improvements and recommend solutions. Actively participate in creating financial reports. Interact with finance team members and management. Gather and document report or system requirements. Special project work and ad hoc requests, if time permits. You will be expected to contribute to the assignments while gaining invaluable experience developing your business and technical skills.Each intern is expected to lead and complete a capstone project, which you'll present to Senior Management towards the end of your internship.

The best candidates will thrive in varied dynamic business environments, demonstrate strong customer service orientation, attention to detail, an aptitude for working with financial systems, and will be comfortable working both independently and in teams. A passion for excellence and innovation are both a must.
Education - Candidate for a BS degree with an expected graduation year of 2022 required, with an understanding of basic/functional Accounting knowledge preferred;
Minimum 0 years' experience;
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills;
Basic documentation skills;
Highly analytical and inquisitive mindset;
Minimum proficiency of Microsoft Office Suite;
SQL experience highly desirable but not required;
Information technology and/or data analytics background and experience are highly desirable.
