Senior Auditor - Technology

Job Description Summary

This role participates in the timely delivery of high quality,value added assurance and audit reports for a portfolio of business activities, which meet the requirements of the Boards of Citigroup and Citibank, their affiliates and of Citi's respective regulators, globally.

The Senior Auditor is an intermediate level role responsible for delivering audits and assessments of Citi's risk and control environments as part of the Institutional Client Group (ICG) Technology Audit team. Functionally, this role is responsible for execution of audits of applications that that support one or more of the Marco (Currencies, Rates and Commodities) businesses that have evolved and grown significantly in size and scope.

Responsibilities:

• Execute audit assignments through effective collaboration with the regional or global audit teams within budgeted timelines and costs
• Perform technology audits of business applications by identifying key risks and controls, developing and executing control assessment plans, drafting control issues and presenting them to the technology management, discussing practical solutions and action plans
• Apply internal audit standards, policies, and regulations to provide timely audit assurance and influence audit scope
• Actively contribute to the automated auditing initiatives for efficient and continuous control monitoring
• Develop effective line management relationships to ensure strong understanding of the business
• Learn and apply the data quality standards for high quality audit documentation

Qualifications and Competencies:

• University - Master's Degree preferred
• Knowledge of ICG Markets businesses such as Rates, Currencies, Equities, Commodities preferred
• Strong written and verbal communications skills with demonstrated ability to clearly articulate issues and facilitate identification and implementation of solutions.
• Good project management, negotiation and interpersonal skills.
• Demonstrated analytical ability to understand IT control issues and related risks and controls, to identify root cause and recommending solutions.
• Preferred experience in execution of Computer Assisted Audit Tools and Techniques (CAATTs)
• Preferred with relevant professional qualifications such as Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA), Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP).
