IN-HOUSE CORPORATE TAX MANAGER - North West - Salary paying up to £50,000 plus competitive annual leave, employee discounts, flexible working and free parking
Based in the North West, our client is a large international business who are seeking a strong, dedicated individual to become part of their dedicated Tax Team as a Corporate Tax Manager
THE JOB:
The role will primarily be to provide assistance with managing the Group corporate tax compliance process and the external reporting function
Main Responsibilities:
THE PERSON:
It is essential you have proven practical experience of working in a Tax related role and exposure to international Tax matters would be beneficial. The ideal candidate will either be a first-time mover or already be in industry having trained with the Big 4. Knowledge of IFRS and exposure to financial reporting under US GAAP would be advantageous. Ideally, you will be qualified ACA / CTA with strong Excel skills and have the ability to adapt and respond to ongoing change within the business. The ability to work well under pressure and excellent communication skills are also required.

THE JOB:

Main Responsibilities:
- Quarterly and annual consolidated reporting for the Group
- Financial statement tax disclosures for the stand-alone UK entities
- Maintaining and reviewing Corporate Tax SAO and CCO procedures and documentation
- Transfer pricing and diverted profit tax
- Regular review of group forecasts for accounting and tax planning purposes
- Oversee the compliance process for non-UK entities to ensure that deadlines are worked to and assist with any tax-related queries
- Working with external advisers on the production of UK corporate income tax computations, including preparation of UK capital allowances analysis, detailed review of tax treatment of transaction fees, and review of the corporate interest restriction calculation
